Lengthening the lobe
Men and women in the Masai tribe of Kenya used to lengthen the earlobe using various materials, including thorns, bundles of twigs, stones and elephants.
They see that it increases beauty, wisdom, and is an important and necessary part of their lives, and women also wear various forms of beads ornaments in the lobe of the ears, and this practice is still common so far.
