A "bullshit" course helps to avoid false or misleading information
Two professors from the University of Washington have developed a course on bullshit. In other words, their lecture cycle is to provide the keys to better identify and understand false or misleading information. Manipulation of figures, diffusion of fake news, distinction between causality and correlation ... A multitude of questions are addressed (often with humor). And the two researchers accompany the whole with concrete methods and examples to avoid getting trapped. Notably noted by the two professors: the course was prepared well before the election of Donald Trump.
